Doc Groups Generally Positive on House Budget Deal

(MedPage Today) The budget deal being negotiated by Congress and the Obama Administration contains some negatives for providers, but on the whole it's not a bad deal for physicians, experts said.
The measure, which was approved by the House on Wednesday, pushes back by 1 year the date when a previous cut in Medicare provider payments -- mandated by 2013's budget sequestration -- would be restored, wrote Bob Doherty, senior vice president for governmental affairs and public policy at the American College of Physicians
